Once a month throughout the year a group of “local friends of the church” get together and craft various Christmas ornaments, gifts and projects which we sell or auction off at the fair. Maybe you have bought some of them if you have visited it? You do not have to be the best seamstress, a knitter or artist to join us, for example I am sadly lacking in artistic talent, but we all enjoy each other’s company and it is amazing how we seem to find our gift or talent. Mine’s organizing, another member discovered she loves canning and another was put in charge of decorating and arranging all the “Theme baskets” for the raffle after she discovered a flair for it. Of course, we also have some great talent- painters and members that love to quilt and have made us some beautiful quilts to raffle off over the years. Check out some of last year’s projects on Instagram: thecongregationalchurchofunion. We share light refreshments and a lot of laughs while we work on our projects and since our crafting sessions started 9 years ago, our numbers have grown, and lifelong friendships have been made.

If you are new to town, or have lived here a while and would like to join us, or have questions please email me.

We look forward to crafting with you!

Our meetings are usually held on the first Monday of each month and run from approximately 9 a.m. – noon.
